My sister and I were talking {a rare thing}. She told me about the FLY lady system and suggested that I take a look at it. The funniest thing is that for many years when my children were younger I adopted this approach. It helped. After having a nervous breakdown and moving cross country twice, I found myself not following the routines that had helped so much, especially with a special needs child. The new relationship I am in has inspired me to try yet again to organize my life and make progress instead of digressing into the chaos of my youth. I grew up in a household without the structure to accomplish daily household tasks. This has caused me to struggle with organization all my life. When my son's mental illness was diagnosed I found myself overwhelmed with appointments and school meetings. The only way to make things work with 3 children and everything I had to accomplish in each day was to get organized. My mom wasn't much help as she's never had to deal with what was staring me in the face. Ok, time to get to work and get my home the way I have always wanted it to be... Wish me luck
