I rewired my brain by believing in myself and knowing that my good attitude, motivation and hard work (without a degree) can get me as far in life as I set my goals. Evidence of this is that I worked my way up the corporate ladder beginning my career as a receptionist, then helping with the start up of two companies, to serving as COO to a multi-franchise shipping firm for 10 years. I am now an author, professional speaker and trainer. I am working on my 2nd book to be published in the spring of 2012. Living Your Dreams about how you can live your dreams through proper goal setting using the DREAMS formula (deadline, reward, exclusive, attainable, measurable, and specific.) Each goal must have a purpose and you must prepare for possible obstacles for each goal. The next keys are to make a plan, manage your time, and take at least one action step every day toward your goals. To stay motivated, I have a daily 4 step process that takes about 10 minutes each day called Dream Weaving. Dream Weaving starts your day off with motivation then closes your day planning what you will do the next day, allowing for a good night’s rest.I have reached many of my goals such as living on the mountain (2 acres) with a beautiful view, working from home, writing a book, having two beautiful children and a wonderful husband, helping others and on my way to being able to give back to the community.
