Bernard was on discussing misotheism - hating God. We’ll briefly recap that and then talk about literature; his great love. Most readers have a few books that made a great impact on their lives. Emerson and Thoreau writings gave me the courage - and rage - to become a conscientious objector in 1952. Dr.Roger Williams’, BIOCHEMICAL INDIVIDUALITY changed how I perceived every person from then on.  The New Age writers (I was a later one) changed what I thought was important and how I taught. The New Atheists encouraged my writing of Godless and the Good Life. I don’t think that’s what Bernard means, but I hope he includes all books.
