Why Can't Women Get Along

A lot of women today use the phrase "I don't have a lot of female friends". This is pretty common. We see television shows like "Girlfriends", "Sex in The City", and "Single Ladies" but those friendships aren't as common in the real world. Why is that? Women get the reputation of being "catty", two-faced, jealous, haters, and not able to get along with other women, and most people will agree and say that it's true. Why are women like this?
