La Trisha Mcintosh a published author with book Simply Speaking: Words for the Journey- Wisdom for the Way (2011), La Trisha composed a collection of original quotes covering many topics from family, faith and relationships. She also heads a publishing company, Humble Beginnings with her husband, also a published author. Other personal achievements include The Secret Garden-Women in Business Award in 2013. She has also participated in numerous panels like Love in Abundance where she mentored young girls and the Miss Representation- Zeta Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a discussion centered around women's portrayal in the media. Both she and her sister were interviewed by founder Tania Maria in 2013, to celebrate the success of Beautifully Said Magazine.

La Tasha Taylor enjoys the day to day demands of operating a magazine company. It has afforded her a wealth of business knowledge and many wonderful life changing experiences. People she once considered friends and mentors [in her head], she now had the chance to interview on a more intimate level. Transposing those talks from the bathroom mirror to actually interacting with celebrities, entrepreneurs and socially conscious individuals. Her greatest interview to date was with the late Dr. Maya Angelou. She remembers the one question she asked the literary icon who gently sighed in relaxation, and responded gladly to what was considered her own personal joy. To have the honor of speaking to such a beautiful spirit is a memory La Tasha says she will never forget.
