January 7th Show Topic Outline and Notes:Your time is the most precious commodity that you have. It is more precious than gold silver, oil. Time can not be managed. All you can do is prioritize the activities you want to accomplish during a set time period. Once you make that mind shift, then like any other investment you make, you want to make sure that you get the most of your return.
Prioritizing your time efficiently and effectively is not a simple process that you can change over night. Rather, it is a new, day-to-day approach to managing both your professional and personal life.
In order to effectively create change it requires committment to defining what is the most important. Successful time prioritization requires you to eliminate your personal time wasters.
One way to identify your time wasters is to consider these following suggestions:
Whenever you are considering a project or are asked to take on additional tasks, ask yourself:• How does this task fit into my professional and personal goals?
• What is the objective?
• How will I be rewarded?
• Is this task something I want to do?
• Is there a better way to do it?
• Should it be done at all?
• Will the world come to end if…?
