I. Soaking is spending time with God

A. Quiet time with God. 1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has given us, that

we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did

not know Him.

B. Allowing the Holy Spirit to take over – scary? Ephesians 5:18 And do not be drunk with

wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit.

C. Coming to Him with an open heart not mouth. Psalms 27:4 One thing I have desired from

Jehovah, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my

life, to behold the beauty of Jehovah, and to pray in His temple. Psalms 27:8 My heart

says to You, Seek my face; Your face, O Jehovah, I will seek. Psalms 37:7 Rest in Jehovah,

and wait patiently for Him; do not fret yourself because of him who prospers in his way,

because of him who practices wickedness. Psalms 4:4 Tremble, and sin not; speak within

your own heart on your bed and be still. Selah.
