Mara first went to India in 2001 and immediately felt a strong sense of home in this completely foreign land. During her time there, she immersed herself in studying Buddhist philosophy and over the years has sat many Vipassana Meditation 10-day courses. Yoga became a way for her to make a much needed shift out of her head and into her physical body. Finding joy and connection through yoga, her practice has transformed her life.
