ADRIENNE S SANTANA

Residing in Centre, Alabama Adrienne Santana is happily married to Tony Santana.  Together they share three adult children and two grandchildren.  She is a two time internationally published bestselling author on Amazon with her third launching this month on the 14th of December.  She published her first essay titled "Legacy of the Lotus” in June of 2014.  It was the writing of this essay that inspired her to start "Legacy of the Lotus" as a tool to help others voice their own stories through the world of anthologies.

When asked what motivates her Adrienne recalls “As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a ''story-teller'' and at the age of six I wrote my first story on blank white paper folding the pages in half and binding them in ribbon to make a book.  It was a craft to me even then.  During class one day, my teacher Ms. Brown caught me making one of these little books and retrieved it from me.  I thought I was in big trouble.  To my surprise, she asked me to stand at the front of the class and said "Class, Adrienne has something I would like for her to read to everyone." Then she nodded to me to go ahead.

Publishing my essay “Legacy of the Lotus” in Erica Gordon’s “Motherhood, Dreams & Success:  You Can Have It All”, renewed a passion I’d long let go of.  A passion to encourage and inspire others to be heard and to share the gift of their life’s legacy.  With that sharing comes a higher level of freedom and self-worth like the one I’d never known and I’ve realized there are no boundaries to our dreams. ... It's with great pleasure that I present to you my guest Adrienne S. Santana..
