Inviting to the Straight Path is honored to welcome Br. Jihad Rasuwl the who is the author of a very beautiful book, Universal Brotherhood; Quranic Solutions To Overcome Racism And Oppression. The foreword of this book gives an excellent introduction to what lies between its covers.

No matter how far man advances and improves his life through education, technology and medicine the core of what a man is remains to be the same. Jihad Rasuwl has skillfully shown in this work, using a methodical writing style, the ills that have plagued America from inception. What may be shocking to many is the fact that these ills still remain prevalent today; they have just taken on different forms. The author has risen above the all too familiar style of complaining about the ills of society and has addressed these issues while giving solutions. All too often we remove the God factor in solving our problems. This book places the plan of God as its focus in fixing what is wrong with society.

This work takes you on a historical field trip giving you the perspectives of those faced with the biggest challenges in our society and allows the reader to hear first hand their accounts of their condition. Then, it gives a Biblical perspective to show how it addresses the problems. It concludes with a blueprint from the Quran and Islamic perspective on how we can cure ourselves and society. This book is a must read and it should be introduced not only to Masjids and Islamic centers, but to Churches and into the halls of academia.

Who said racism and oppression are dead? We will discuss the forms that these ills have taken on now and give the solutions that if followed will truly lay them to rest.
