Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey - with Jessica Molaskey!

First, let's thank Dan Fortune for sharing the news about this glorious project - and BEING :)  Jessica Molaskey has had a dozen Broadway successes - one of them was a blissful revival of "Sunday in the Park with George."  Nominated for NINE Tony Awards!  She has been involved in off-Broadway endeavors, too.  Solo albums - five - ALL gush-worthy.  She and her husband, the most amazing John Pizzarelli, have had unbelievable audiences where they've performed - at the Cafe Carlyle, for example. "The New York Times" couldn't stop raving.  "Caviar in a world of canned tuna!"

Does that give you an indication of Jessica Molaskey's talent?!  What a joy to pass along some wonderful information to you, then.  On July 28th, "Portraits Of Joni" was released on a new imprint of Ghostlight Records - called Ghostlight Deluxe.  Jessica is over the MOON with the motivation behind these projects.  They will give theatrically inclined artist the chance to spread their wings and blossom via music.  EXACTLY what she is doing here!  Jessica's love for Joni Mitchell has been decades-long.  She views Joni as a song painter - so, the interpretation of Mitchell's music is colored with Jessica's OWN palette.  Incorporating Jazz, Pop, Folk, Americana - can you hear more?  Jessica would like that.  She has in mind full-blown genre blending :)  With the help of prestigious musicians, she has again WOWED the very reviewers who have remained steadfast in their praise since Jessica arrived within New York music circles.
