Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey - with Lynne Fiddmont!

So many know SO much about this phenomenal singer, songwriter, arranger and producer.  How well do YOU know Lynne Fiddmont?  Did you know that St. Louis claims her as her own?  And that her first gig was with the Jazz Crusaders (bless Joe Sample's heart!)  We're just getting warmed UP here!  This is a woman who worked HARD, back in college days, to achieve the kind of status that she has now.  If you were to ask Walter Beasley or STEVIE Wonder what they think about Lynne?  Be prepared to sit a while :)  

As long as we're talking names, here are more - all have worked with our guest.  We could do an A to Z roll call here (seriously) - but we'll edit!  Barbra Streisand, Bill Withers, Phil Collins, Babyface, the late and great Carl Anderson, Whitney Houston, Joe Zawinul and Natalie Cole - even nearing the end of her precious life.  What Lynne learned from all of these beloved artists is something that she doesn't take for granted.  Especially with Natalie's passing, the thought came to her that she MUST live as if there was no tomorrow.  Because many tomorrows never arrived for too many.

Because she has this fire in her, Lynne wanted to record a fourth album that would speak to the world in terms of LOVE - because there's way too much hate.  The title says it: "Power of Love!"  Lynne's accepting funding for her project at her website.  And she WILL get it with your help.  Her single, "Groovy People", is setting the pace for the delicious vibe to come.  This Gamble/Huff chestnut is a Philly classic - written for Lou Rawls.  Singing with Lou was one of Lynne's first professional gigs - so how fitting is it to have recorded such a FEEL GOOD classic?
