Gracious, we LOVE when Darryl visits with us!  And I mean US - my Ladies will be in The Chat Room, hanging on his ever word!  This gentleman has made friends in the business as almost no other.  He's gracious, thoughtful, kind, full of naturally compelling customer service skills - and OH so talented :)

From the time he warbled "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" as a young 'un, this beautiful man has been led to give us his message of music.  No matter how that emerges.  Saxophone, composing, singing, percussion.  Since he's bilingual, Darryl has also been invited to join various endeavors that sorely needed his artistry.  For example, pre-production for the internationally known Luis Miguel.

Darryl has been heard on various record labels, like A & M and Motown.  His voice has popped on an array of beloved brands - you might have caught that astounding throat pitching Dole, Pringles, Toyota or Honey Nut Cheerios!  He's ALWAYS busy, whether it's with his own group, in partnership with a duo, with the very popular California-based Haute Chile, and especially with East Bay Soul.

When Greg Adams was on our show, he described what it was like when he first heard Darryl.  After boxloads of tapes to find the right singer for his group, he was exhausted.  Wife Andrea begged him to listen to ONE more.  That was Darryl. Greg just stopped in his tracks.  Hey, we ALL have!  Mr. Walker is possessed of a thrillingly soulful, passionate and emotive style that is comfortable in a variety of genres.  When some of us heard him tackle, "What's Going On", we KNEW. Something special is within that man.  A true superstar-in-the-making.

Join us for music and loving conversation on 3/10.  Darryl joins us in the second hour!
