Back in those days when families were gathered around the TV, yours truly remembers enjoying certain artists from "The Lawrence Welk Show."  One of those acts was The McGuire Sisters.  Their harmonies were amazing - the kind of blending and weaving that only family members can give us.  And they conveyed such joy and hope!  When listening to The Ault Sisters, you hear the same kind of magic.  They sound absolutely angelic.  So - how fitting to have them as guests this time of year?

In fact, The Ault Sisters will be our last guests of 2014.  So, the show on 12/18 will truly be special :)  Just a little background on Amanda, Alicia and Alanna - they are from Toronto and have been singing for a long time.  Even though they are still quite young!  All have had formal music education.  And, though their musical tastes are different, they agree that Jazz lends itself to the complex harmonies that they so love.  They first performed as a trio in 2004.  In 2006, they released "Christmas Feelings" - and that album paved the way for so much to happen.  Including a yearly holiday event at the popular Hugh's Room in their city.  It's always a benefit show.  And it's always much anticipated - many have said that it's not the season until they hear the Sisters perform at Hugh's!

That show this year is coming up - and, at the same time - the single by our trio, "May You Always", is doing REALLY well for them.  It's the kind of song that lingers in your spirit once you've heard it.

Please join us for a triumverate of beautiful young ladies who have been blessed with fabulous voices.  They will truly make you feel Christmas!

See you in The Chat Room - we'll miss you in the days to come as "Hybrid Jazz" takes an extended hiatus.  Blessings to ALL!
