Now, you KNOW that if we have powerful presences like James Lloyd and Greg Adams - it's going to be a glorious event!  And on INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY - whew!

The emphasis on this special day - Wednesday - not the usual Tuesday or Thursday - is on the global aspects of Jazz interpretation.  And our guests, born in America, will speak of the importance of Jazz around the world.  These artists have been rewarded richly with love and success because of their chosen paths - and that love comes from every corner.  It's a mission to make sure that we acknowledge ALL of those corners!  And we're looking forward to conveying that love :)

James Lloyd from the vastly successful group, Pieces of a Dream, will join us first.  Those who know the show host here also know how much the musicans from Philadelphia receive a big focus - especially when they're brilliant!  And talk about longevity...Pieces is celebrating 37 years in the business!  Some kind of anniversary - and we'll talk about those fabulous years with James, hear sublime tracks from "In the Moment" (the first CD from the band on Shanachie!) and we'll also drum up excitement for the band's Blues Alley dates - coming in May!

A special thrill concerning our friend Greg Adams, who climbs aboard the Hybrid train in the last hour of the show. Such a treat to know that the founder of East Bay Soul has such great gigs on the way ths Summer - but a double decker delight to know that we have two pairs of tickets to give away!  Those for the June 15th show at Ram's Head in Annapolis, Maryland!  Thanks to Laura Price for the terrific suggestion - and a big thank you to Andrea Adams - and to Greg for spending time with us! You'll delight in the conversation - heck, especially on this most wonderful day to celebrate Jazz!!!
