When you stop to consider the magnitude of Chuck Loeb's career, it almost doesn't seem possible.  Over four DECADES of excellence!  Guitarist, composer, arranger, producer, and educator - and there's even more than THAT that he has done.

We're discussing a seasoned studio musician - well-versed in all genres - so talented that he was plucked by Stan Getz in 1979 to be the Legend's sideman - then Music Director - then ventured forth to become one of the most acclaimed and productive guitarists in the world.

Touring or performing with or producing, this list is only a partial one of those who were graced by the presence of Chuck Loeb: Freddie Hubbard (we could stop THERE!), Carly Simon, Bob Dylan, Grover Washington, Jr., the Michaels Brecker and Franks, Johnny MATHIS!  And on and on.

Dozens of musical projects: solo, co-led, participant or producer --- TV and film composition - a partnership in the mega-successful, Fourplay - and a founder of the Jazz fusion band, Metro - this artist may not seem to have had a slow minute since he started his career.  But the reason his music seems to have such a consistently serene vibe is because of his wonderful family life - with the amazing songstress, Carmen Cuesta - and their two daughters.  ALL of whom are featured on Chuck's new album, "Silhouette."

This new work was truly an extended family affair to prepare.  So many of Chuck's musical friends and partnerships participated in this labor of love.  It perfectly depicts what the intention was in naming the CD: the shape of what was developed through the years...from the light of those relationships (and experiences) that made the positive happen.  Thinking of this is absolutely delightful.  So is the pride of New York State: Chuck Loeb!  Join us for a glimpse of greatness on 9/26.
