If you know the handsome grown-up that Darryl Walker is, it may be tough to visualize LITTLE Darryl singing "Dock of the Bay" with all his heart.  For some of us, it's easy to see in our mind's eye.  Because, truth be told, we actually believe that Darryl emerged from MOM, singing!  It's like THAT!  LOL!

So many fans later...here's the amazing Mr. Walker, with a few pieces of great news to share.  Hence, the reason for his guest stop on the show.  But let me re-wind a bit...and share some facts that you may not know about this fan favorite.  First, he has been a session player for multiple record labels, including A & M and Motown.  Second, he has done jingles for a number of household names - including Dole, Pringles, and Honey Nut Cheerios.  And has been on the "Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson."  Also, because of his "bilinguality" (my word - you hush! :), he has endeared himself to the internationally known Luis Miguel - who uses Darryl's voice every chance he gets.

But you know, of course, that DFW is more than a spectacular voice - and I don't use that word often.  A throwback voice - one that revisits time - like, say, in the 60's.  When vocals had muscle and soul and passion.  Whew...where was I?  Oh, yeah - Darryl Does More :)  Saxophone and Percussion.  A triple threat?  You best believe it, L U V - as we used to say in Philly!

A tour with East Bay Soul (he IS the voice of EBS!), stops in the Mid-Atlantic, a new EP of his own work, and a gig to mark the occasion - ALL of it will be discussed on 7/2/2013.  Be there for the early fireworks - we only have ONE show this week - and we'll make it count!

First Tuesday means that artists call during the first hour - to talk about gigs & new projects!  Darryl at two Eastern time.
