He's BACK!  And as excited as ever about Fourplay's new project, "Esprit De Four."  Chuck's association with this stellar group has only one since 2010 - you would think that he has blended that guitar with Harvey, Bob and Nathan for YEARS!  It was just a few months ago that Mase marveled at this on the show...how he described their unity: "family."  That's the highest compliment and Chuck completely understands.

What you may not know about the Marvelous Mr. Loeb: he decided on a music career at age 11!  He was playing in bands at 13 and he jumped into the flames of guitar wizardry since then.  From his home in Nyack, New York, he traveled to Philly to study under the acclaimed Dennis Sandole.  He got a chance to attend Berklee and those few years cemented his passion and focus for Jazz.

Moving back to his home state, he got noticed by Chico Hamilton, Ray Baretto, and Hubert Laws.  Practicing sometimes eight hours a day, a big opportunity came Chuck's way in 1979 - when Stan Getz invited him onboard.  Traveling the world was eye opening in more ways than one.  Via Stan, Chuck had the chance to tour Brazil.  It was there that he met the love of his life, the amazing singer, Carmen Cuesta.  And the music of the country never left his heart.

There have been forays with respected groups: Steps Ahead and Metro - and solo efforts that have been unforgettable. And, so you know - an abundance of music for TV, Film and Jingles.  But the time with Fourplay now is significant.  The music that is on this album is transformative.  You'll hear.  And you'll be entranced by this producer, arranger, composer and master guitarist's fabulous journey.  The dreams of a child CAN come true.  You ask Chuck Loeb :)
