Hey, I'll delete my last name if it means that I can have TWO guests!  I heard of the partnership between Trey Eley and Matthew Shell via Trey's Dad.  He pointed out to me that Grammy.Com had a special "First Listen" feature.  And it focused on a track from my guests' new project.  The song is called "Twilight" and it's wonderful.  Along with Matthew's production skills and Trey's flute, it also stars that magic trumpet belonging to Greg Adams.

That's one of the eye-opening tunes from "Trey Eley and Matthew Shell Present Freedom" - it's a collaboration from young talent that will have you buzzing!

Matthew and Trey are both part of the umbrella called Working Notion Entertainment.  Matt is a Producer, Songwriter and Engineer at Assembly Line Studios, based in the Washington, DC, area.  He has been involved with award-winning endeavors before this - and has worked with respected artists, as has his partner.

Trey has been involved in Jazz, etc. for 20 years.  The head of his own company, MCE3 Entertainment, he has turned out several projects, starting with his 2007 debut - aptly titled "The Beginning."  Along with saxophonist/President Marcus Mitchell, Trey as Vice-President runs 24th Music - and you may have heard about these two friends recording as The Jazz Boyz on that label.

The team of Eley and Shell have quite a project with "Freedom."  We'll hear three tracks and talk about past, present and future during the show on September 18th.  Fun begins at ONE p.m. Eastern - Matthew and Trey visit at three.  You'll feel better about the future of Jazz after our hour is finished.  These young men are creative and passionate about what they do, and every track on this new endeavor shows how much!
