What a revelation this rare talent is! Darryl Walker had a different life not that long ago - and he is smiling now - happy that he made the decision to change that life.
From the corporate world to full-time status as a musican and talent, Darryl has built a career that most would envy. You might have heard his soulful, gilded throat via a Dole commercial - or Pringles, Toyota, and Honey Nut Cheerios. He has been the voice of Boeing and has done childrens' audio books. Off-Broadway, he was a part of "Here and Now: the Legacy of Luther Vandross."
Darryl is bilingual and has worked with the internationally known Luis Miguel - and you certainly have known our guest by way of his association with East Bay Soul. Greg Adams thinks Darryl is the greatest thing since sliced bread - and there are legions of fans who feel the same! And we haven't even discussed his talents on sax and percussion!
We'll discover the fascinating journey that the amazing Mr. Walker has taken to get to this point. This point is in your face (gently) on Tuesday, the 26th - when Darryl joins us during the 1 p.m. hour.
The music will be great and the company will be unforgettable (oh, that Chat Room will be on FIRE for Darryl!) Join us - we're back to our regular time at 1 p.m. until 4 - Eastern time. But this day, Darryl's Day, it will be West Coast fun. From the East Side!
