When Mark Mosley was a young boy, he fell in love with the Blues. At 11, he picked up a guitar and didn't look back. A high school trip to Switzerland changed his scope - he saw a live performance featuring Oscar Peterson, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Les McCann, Eddie Harris, and David "Fathead" Newman. Thereafter, he was inspired to learn all he could about Jazz!
That fire continues to burn, years after being an Army paratrooper and educator. Mark's second musical project, "TLC" is full of the love he learned to hear way back - combined with what his ears are telling him now! You can see him live at the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival on Thursday night - and you can find out about the man behind the music on Thursday afternoon's "Hybrid Jazz" show.
