Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey - with Kevin Toney!

When there was a 24 hour a day, commercial Jazz station in Baltimore - I remember feeling at peace whenever a Kevin Toney song was programmed into the mix.  There was something about the way his fingers hit those keys on the piano - a joy of playing, a hope renewed - it got me every time.  Sometimes, I would have to be on the microphone - and I would get a little catch in my throat.  He makes you a believer...so you can't help getting emotional.

Join me as I get to thank him this Tuesday :)  Kevin Toney checks in at 2 p.m. Eastern time - and shares good news.  And you can take that any way that you want!  Detroit-born Kevin has undergone some huge changes - entirely joyful ones.  You can tell from his music - please do check "New American Suite" if you already haven't!  And you can most assuredly tell if you have read his book: "The Virtuous Man: Breaking the Mens' Code."  Powerful work from a life that found the truth - and it set Kevin Toney free.
