You were promised HYBRID - and you sure are getting it!  Our second show of the New Year brings you a true breath of fresh air, regarding Jazz and creativity.  Reginald Cyntje was born in Dominica in 1976, and his family then moved to St. Thomas - one of the more beautiful places on Earth.  Reginald gravitated to the trombone, and he more than just plays it...he is "connected" to it in spiritual ways.  He is now a Washington, D.C., based artist and educator - with an album that you need to hear: "Freedom's Children: The Celebration."  Combining Jazz, the rhythm of the Caribbean, and Afrobeat, the music on this work soars and stays in your ears for days :)  Meet the man who captures magic on disc...Reginald Cyntje.  He knows Hybrid!
