Hybrid Jazz From Trish - with Dan Kuramoto of Hiroshima!

The musical roots of the group, Hiroshima, go back more than 30 years.  But the inspirations for Dan Kuramoto go back a lot further.  No one could have dreamed that a band like this - multiculturally fused with ancient Japanese instruments - could translate into some of the most beloved music in Jazz!  But Dan had a vision...then, he met his match - and the visions became Hiroshima.  We'll hear the journey of an internationally embraced group of artists who believe in the healing power of what they do - it's a thrill that Dan will join me in the second hour of the show.  In the first, to honor our guest, you'll hear a extra dose of "Hybrid" in the mix of music.  After all, we have to keep up with the dream that our Sensei had - all those years ago!
