HabsFan vs. LeafsFan - Season 2, Episode 9.

Mayhem on the Highway: A Montreal Canadiens Fan Story (0:00).

You'll be amazed at how dangerous the Quebec highway system can be when not one, but *two* Habs superstars end up plowing into your car in the most cinematic fashion imaginable. What starts as an unfortunate accident quickly turns into a sentimental nightmare that only a fan of the Canadiens could possibly appreciate. Listener discretion is advised: this sketch includes high-octane sound effects and really dubious accents.

HvL Banter (2:11).

Kamal and Ari take no prisoners in their ridiculously serious conversation about the fifth game of the regular season. The irony isn't lost on them even as they descend into a state of relative madness and yearning for their barbarically scrutinized hockey teams.

HabsFan rant (15:01).

Rehman uses serious math, new school analytics, and other hocus pocus in a truly prophetic manner to point out all the mundane realities associated with a slow start and why the Montreal Canadiens battle with the Leafs might be the highlight of their entire season.

LeafsFan rant (16:30).

Shapiro sounds the alarm bells and issues a distant early warning about Frederik Andersen and the always frail, delicate, and unreasonable expectations from the Leafs fanbase when it comes to goaltending 101.

An exclusive interview with Andrew Boehmer (@acboehmer), site expert at Editor-in-Leaf (@EditorinLeaf), who joins the show to discuss game five of the season, his thoughts on the strengths and weaknesses of the blue and white, and why artificial intelligence and nuclear weapons doesn't scare him nearly as much when compared to Carey Price in the zone. (17:45)
