∞House Thoughts X-change  

After listening to The Mecca Lounge Radio Show radio show with Lady Chi on Sunday October 21th show, I was thinking of this expression that came to me this morning since I do have the Sickle Cell trait and the picture above is a link to The Red Lane website. So this is something a freeversestylemix I have.

I am human
I have the basic essentials
I have all of my ligaments
That God can bring out in full potential
Regardless of how people react
Worthless to be my name is a stigma I attack
For I am human
People dont understand
So they try to hide what they dont comprehend
Over me they try to stand
With negativity and the stigmas they send
But God told me and to share with others
No matter what principle and tabloids
They want to look superior so I have them annoyed
To remember and acknowledge I am human

I fight not to accept
And try to have this feeling to reject
But its hard not to think that
This ailment could be a conspiracy
As though this is my theory
Because of the pattern it travelled
Trying to get this mystery unraveled
Was this a way of getting rid of me
For I didnt fit into society
But God always proclaim
Regardless of what society want to identify
By giving me their name
The thing about I
I am human

My condition
Stimulates my mission
To let the world know
Im still capable
Not helpless
As I lay my cards on the table
That God is able
So I still lives contrary to medical exams
For they will not define who I am
According to God's definition, I am human

I will live my life, and thats my proclamation
As the message in this presentation
And shall be broadcasted on my radio station
Accross countries and internations
Regardless of my condition
As I travel on this expedition
My mission
To let the world know, I am human.

Who am I?

Moving through haze
Demons snarling
And snapping
From above
And below the grave
Destruction
Interruption
Death and
Corruption
Head bowed
Sludging through
stoic on a prayer
reminiscent of
The Mother Mary
Worlds stacked
And layered
against me
predators
phoniness
illness
riddled with
thoughts to quit
The Holy Spirit
Whispers
"Stay in the light"
like Carol Ann
In Poltergeist
White rays through hell
My silent screams of desperation
Barely heard like echoes
Deep in a well
Fighting
and sometimes crawling
on my hands and knees
propelled forward on
by memories
of kindness
faithfulness
blessedness
Faces of acqaintances,
friends, family
The rib
from which I was made
And for these beautiful reasons
time and time again
I re-emerge to the physical
by means through
mental and the spiritual
Resilient
Renewed
To an higher power
to now what's before you

But Who am I?
The one and only Lady Chi...

Stage Mic
When I get on stage,
I just close my eyes,
3 or 4 times
And breathe
One that goes down deep
And back up a climb steep
Look out into the audience,
That I now don't see
And go on my voyage
Let the words glide effortlessly
From my mind and onto my tongue
Taste the words
Like they were meant to be thronged
Upon
Like a mother to a son
Or a Brotha man's code
Let it live,
Let it breathe
Like it has its own soul
Spinning out of control
Into a vortex
As I do an inner flex
In the complex
Until there is no more
To spiral to next
And like a symphony
I come down off my crescendo
As my last verbal wind blows
Celestial, ethereal
I let go
Of the instrument
Like a bow
Stops sending vibrations
To the strings
Of its violin
I snap back into the visual clearing
What a rush,
I'm itching
Anticipating
When
It's time to take it to the mic again…
