Nearly half of the marriages in the U.S. over the last decade have been between people of different faiths, and many of those families are raising children fully in both parents’ religious traditions.  Almost one quarter of all Americans attend religious services of more than one faith or denomination. Interfaith marriages are increasingly common.

Clergy often argue that children raised with two faiths will be confused, and oftentimes one religion takes precedence over another in an effort to minimize conflict. Choosing one religion works for many families, but not all of them.

On this episode of Real Talk with Pastor Ray, Pastor Ray will address this very common issue, and answer the questions:

  • Should parents choose one religion for their children?
  • Should they teach both religions and let their child choose?
  • Or should they not push religion and faith at all?
