Black magic is a type of magic that wishes evil onto others. Black magic may be used to deliberately cause harm to a person in some way as well as malevolent acts.

Hoodoo is a form of predominantly African-American traditional folk magic that developed from the syncretism of a number of separate cultures and magical traditions. It incorporates practices from African and Native American traditions, as well as some European magical practices.

Voodoo contains protection spells, money spells, and as diverse an array of magic as any other tradition.  Voodoo is a spiritual and magical tradition and always served as a pillar and bastion to support and protect an individual, and provide the highest quality of spiritual and magical assistance.

Quite a few of us in the Black/African American culture have heard stories of black magic, voodoo and hoodoo – stories of people who have cast spells, or who have had spells cast on them. These stories have originated from old tales from people in the south or from other countries.  But are they tales?

I personally have family from the southern region of the US, and have been told stories of these practices, and have always a bit skeptical, but have never closed my mind to the validity of those stories.  But surprisingly, there are many people who believe that spells of voodoo and hoodoo are REAL.  Hmmm, I don’t know – What do you think?

So, with tonight being Halloween, we’re going to discuss these eerie beliefs.

I look forward to hearing from the listeners on this one!.... What have you seen, heard or experienced?
