Interracial marriage in the United States has been fully legal in all U.S. states since the 1967 Supreme Court's decision that mixing of different racial groups is not unconstitutional.  .

Oftentimes, couples in interracial relationships and marriages face barriers that most same-race couples are not exposed.

Tonight's show will examine those barriers that are displayed not only in society, but also within their own families.

I have these questions to pose to the listeners:

  • If interracial relationships are legal, then why is there still such taboo?
  • Does dating outside your race make you a race trader?
  • Do men and women date outside there race because they feel they can't find true love, trust or committment within their own race?
  • What keeps you from dating outside your race?
