The road to the energy future is coated in black gold, Texas tea, gusher upon gusher upon gusher of cheap, scrumpdillyicious fossil fuels just waiting to be tapped under American soil from sea to shining sea. And along that road is nuclear fission, and nuclear fusion, and ultimately matter-antimatter reactors and artificial quantum singularity drives and tapping Hilbert's space itself. Who knows, maybe at some point even solar power will become economically viable once the technology is developed to gather and store it cheaply and efficiently. But there is no room in that golden future for pond scum - neither the green slime in the White House or the green slime he wants to ooze into our shrunken matchbox car tanks.
