Howling Ridge Radio is a production of the Manes and Tails Organization, a NJ 501(c)(3) Non Profit Public Corporation. Manes and Tails Organization rescues the most commonly slaughtered breeds of horses. American Quarterhorses, Thoroughbreds and Paints. We have been rescuing, rehabbing, retraining and re-homing horses since 1995. Incorporated in 2004 by Ellen-Cathryn Nash, who serves as President, among our Board Members are Lynn Henderson - Vice President, Dr. Lester Friedlander, DVM and former Chief USDA Inspector and General Partner, Donald Peebles, Vicki Tobin and Amanda Sorvino who are all General Partners. We all work to better the lives of horses, and we advocate for laws to protect them from slaughter domestically and export to Mexico, Canada, and Japan.
