It's an Epic era for the Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show! Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo are proud to announce a new partnership with The Epicast Network (www.epicastnetwork.com). This is now the epically asinine era of the HBS.

Just like this radio gold podcast is approaching an epic beginning with The Epicast Network, the National Football League is about to start a new season. On the heels of one of the most drama filled offseasons in history, the NFL finally turns to games on the field again. BUT before we get to the games, Mike and George discuss Roger Goodell's loss to Tom Brady in federal court. Brady won his appeal and won't miss any games. How awful does this make the NFL look now? Could this lead to Roger Goodell no longer being the commissioner in the not too distant future? Remember, the NFL is a business and still a money-making machine.

Division by division, how will the NFL playoff picture look? Can anyone in the AFC East threaten New England? Is this the Colts year, to not only win, but be a true Super Bowl contender? Will Peyton Manning and the Broncos see a decline in performance? Who is the favorite in the AFC North? Which teams have the potential to surprise?

Over in the NFC, does Seattle make it three in a row for conference titles? What should we expect from the new look Eagles? How much will the Cowboys miss DeMarco Murray, if at all? Who wins the jam-packed NFC South division of mediocrity? What type of rebound season will Adrian Peterson have? Despite a key injury, is Green Bay still an NFC frontrunner? RGIII's games played total?

While this is mostly a football program, Major League Baseball can't be ignored. The Mets are in the midst of a battle with pitcher Matt Harvey over his innings.

THE Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show, EPICally conquering sports radio, one day, at a time....
