Once baseball is front and center, you know summer is officially here on the sports calander. Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo wax poetic on an asinine reunion weekend, and go from crowning champions, to opening their ears to the crack of the bat.

With both the NBA and NHL concluding their seasons, it's all about Major League Baseball. Before the excitement of the pennant races can be fully focused on, your favorite sports genius' must pay their proper respects to a legend.

Tony Gwynn, one of the best pure hitters in history, lost his battle with cancer. Where does Mr. Padre rank among the all-time hitters? Does his fatal connection with chewing tabacco stain his graceful playing career? Ted Williams can now talk hitting again.

Every MLB season is filled with memorable parts, that fans will never forget. Has an abundance of usually medicore teams contending ruined that for the 2014 season? Will the Kansas City Royals continue to shock the American League? Are the Royals more likely to remain at the top of the Central than the Blue Jays are leading the East? Which teams have a shot at going from worst to first with still three months to go?

Over in the NL, is it possible so many teams will feel they have a chance, the trade deadline will see little selling acivity?

Motorehead (Triple H's WWE theme) blasts, as the Howitzer and Buzz-saw play a game of contender/pretender.

Even though the playoffs are over, that doesn't mean the NBA loses its flair for the dramatic. Another asinine free agency bonanza offseason is upon us. What "decison" will LeBron James make? Mike explains how Dwyane Wade actually holds the keys to the Miami Heat's future.

What don't they conquer? We'll wait. The Howitzer and Buzz-saw conquer sports radio, one day, at a time...
