April 3: Winning The WAR (Includes 2014 MLB Preview)

The grass is green, the danelions are sprouting, and baseball is back. Get excited, buffoons! Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo give their preview of the Major League Baseball in 2014. 

Calm the freakout sessions and champagne popping. IT'S THE FIRST WEEK OF THE SEASON. There's no reason to get too high or too low yet, but which teams have the ability to lurk and surprise? Will former powers like the Giants and Phillies return to contending status? Are the Angels destined for another disappointing season? With all the money pressure, is it finally the Dodgers year? Can the Red Sox repeat? And of course individually, is it time Mike Trout wins the war over Miguel Cabrera? A special eye will also be kept on the Pittsburgh Pirates. Mike doesn't expect the magic to still be there for his hometown Buccos. 

Even though March is over, the madness has not stopped. We're have a Final Four of Florida's dominance, Kentuck's immense talent, Wisconsin's total effort, and UConn's SHABAZZing! Who will cut down the nets and be crowned NCAA champion?

Some of the college stars will become NBA pros soon enough. But are teams intentionally tanking games to add them to their future? Regardless, Mike explains why the "tanking" problem in the NBA is completely overblown and a non issue.
