Beware of a lurking buzz-saw. There's really no better title for this edition of the Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show.

Whether it be team buzz-saw machines that can't be stopped or individual buzz-saws that once let loose can be a destructive force, there are many buzz-saws taking over the sports world these days.

Mike "the BUZZ-SAW" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo cover all the asininity. Another NBA season is here. Can anybody dethrone the Heat? Is Chicago really the best East team to beat Miami, or is maybe the squad they've had the most trouble with, Indiana, the true top contender? Are teams like the new look Nets or the Knicks true threats?

Out West, is it time for a team like Memphis or the Warriors to go from sexy pick to finally getting over the hump? Are the Clippers for real or are they overrated? And of course, never count out the Spurs. How much drama will arise in Laker Land this season and how good are the Rockets? On paper it seems Houston is built for success, but will they do it their first year together?

Respects are paid to one of sports revolutionary all-time buzz-saws, Allen Iverson. No, we're not talkin' 'bout practice! We're talking about a legend officially retiring.

The World Series closes its books with another Red Sox championship. Which team is built to return to the Fall Classic. And the guys go over all that has been the most asinine World Series ever.

In typical heel fashion, Mike defends a fellow buzz-saw. Is Dez Bryant receiving unjust criticism for his antics during Dallas' loss to Detroit. Why is there a double standard between receivers and quarterbacks, when yelling at teammates?

Beware a lurking buzz-saw, and beware the Howitzer and the Buzz-saw, as they conquer sports radio, one day, at a time....
