Despite entering the World Series the favorite, the Detroit Tigers had to watch Pablo Sandoval join an illustrious group of names like Babe Ruth, Reggie Jackson, and Albert Pujols. Not bad for a guy in the midst of an individual career decline. Sandoval smashed three home runs in game one of the 2012 World Series. The win, not only put "Kung Fu Panda" in some heavy history and gave San Francisco a 1-0 series lead, it also eliminated Detroit's "Ace Advantage" of Justin Verlander. What do the Tigers now need to do in order to not let a championship slip from their fingers? Brush their shoulders off!
