Tis the season for asininity is right. Wonder what that means? Well hit up the HBS for analysis of the sports world, complete with full on asininity. Since you last heard from Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo, a cloud planted itself over an MVP, a commissioner began treating the NBA like it's a fantasy league, and the phrase, "you've got mail" took on a while new meaning for a once prestigious university. How should baseball handle yet another steroid stain? Should Ryan Braun have to relinquish his NL MVP? Is the philosophy guilty until proven innocent now implored by fans, fair? What steps can be taken to strengthens MLB's grip on PED usage? Will this spark another steroid rant for the Buzz-saw? You bet ya. Don't be shocked if it takes an unexpected turn. If Braun's positive test wasn't enough to get Mike's juices flowing, NBA Commissioner, David Stern's head has grown so much Barry Bonds is even concerned. Mr. Stern nixed multiple block-buster deals for two soon to be free agent super-stars in a matter of days. Did he cross the line? What will be the futures of Chris Paul and Dwight Howard? Is this what we should expect as NBA life post-lockout? Did he inadvertently hurt the small market franchises involved? Will Stern be able to avoid the inevitable, buzz-sawing? In addition to these two major developments, a brief discussion on the hosts rival school, the University of Pittsburgh, will be had, as well as, the continuation in the HBS NFL Picks challenge. Another week, another hill to climb in the Buzz-saw's comeback effort. The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show. Conquering sports radio, one day, at a time....
