An almost fatal tragedy struck a mother and father in the summer of 1987. Ryan Ready was born into the world with two holes in his heart and a faulty pulmonary valve. His heart defects threatened to end his young life. At the tender age of 2, he spent almost 3 full months in the hospital and was bed stricken for months after his successful surgery. It was nothing short of a miracle that Ryan survived.

Ryan first began singing on stage at the early age of 10 at Sunday church services. At the age of 16 and a sophomore in high school Ryan started a rock band with a few of his peers from his class. The unnamed band performed at the varsity football pep rally’s and his junior prom as well. At the age of 18, Ryan picked up the guitar (self taught) and began writing his own songs. He formed his first band at 19 and quickly made a name for himself as he played local bars and country club ballrooms in Pilot Point and surrounding areas. By the time Ryan reached 24 years of age he had played the honky tonk circuit across North Texas such places as Post Time, Fairfield’s, and Rodeo Exchange etc. But the multitude of what seemed like endless hours of stage time and performing cover music from Top 40 artist could’t feed Ryan’s hunger to become a seasoned songwriter and artist. So, Ryan set off again this time solo acoustic to try and deliver his music to Texas.

“I wouldn’t have come this far without the love and support of my family and I’m excited to see just how far my career as an artist will go”.

Ryan has opened shows for top acts such as Wade Bowen, Phil Hammilton, Eleven Hundread Springs, Whiskey Myers..etc..
