Hru Assaan- Anu, In G.g.'s Listening Room, we're going to discuss "The Process of Reclaiming Your Own Identity". Malcolm X gave a very powerful message in which, we as the scattered nations of Afrika now labeled African Americans are to have "Self Knowledge". But how can they when even their parents are clued to the programmed media where it plants seeds of self-hated commercially everyday. It shows poor little kids that they too can become a billionaire and buy the things they want by becoming a hip-hop rapper. It tells our young people that's all they need. All you have to do is stay on the grind, get that paper, and your mind is captured into believing that if you're not making money, you're not living. The media has our displaced "Black" people turned toward so many external and material things that they can't even begin to have self knowledge. The young people today have their eyes on the tube and the next I-Phone or X-Box system and what new technical feature it can do for them. What it does is take away their ability to think for themselves.G.g.
