L'zs (Terry Kendrick) born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. he was raised by father and aunts throughout his whole life. The first piece of music was wrote at the age of 12, although at the time he wasn't taken seriously, no one knew the talent he possessed. During his junior and high school years the art of writing and putting music together improved to a point where he wanted to make a career in the music industry.

During the early part of the 2000's, he teamed up with some friends from his neighborhood to start a rap group called D.T.O. During the early recordingsD.T.O. stood for Dellwood Taken Over but later it was decided to rename the group Down To Orda. The group finally ended but L'z (at the time LT) decided to keep moving in this hip hop game.

After high school L'zs moved to Baden, another part of St Louis, where he met more talented friends and  created his own label called Big Muzik Illatainment.  With his brother L'Flame producing along with J.P. Stylez and Mastermind Sounds, he went solo. He performed and astonished crowds at every show with his lyrical ability through story telling and live energy, L'z started making a name for himself. On June 5, 2011 he dropped his first solo project, "Who Mentioned St.Louis Didn't Say My Name", the mixtape is hosted by Ahdedott of Ground Shakazz Dj's.

The project was well received by all who listened to the album.  The smash hits on the album were 'At Tha Club' and 'Broke' ft. Ahdedott. L'z gives a lot of credit to his family and friends that all support and believe that with his drive he will one day be successful.
