In today’s male dominated world women have emerged as strong viable contributors to their families, employers, and have placed themselves in positions of self sufficiency. Gone are days where women stay at home take care of the children, the home and have dinner ready when their man comes home from a hard day’s work. In many cases women are the heads of their households and bring in the bacon in the same way men have done for years. In the black community this is no phenomenon. Black women have been doing it for years and continue to do so. As a result black women have developed strong positive attitudes, positions of authority in the workplace and have earned their right to be treated on an equal level in the same way men have. Has the aforementioned changed the way black men think about black women or vise versa? Have black women gotten too strong and perhaps stepped up their game too much? Are black women too strong for black men these days? How does his play into black love and relationships?
