Part 1 of 2 . Taitlyn was a fun loving 12 year old girl with a heart of Gold. Her zest for life infectious. She was out to change the world, her favorite saying was “all I want to do in my lifetime is be nice to everyone and make the world a better place.” At 11 yrs old she took it upon herself to tell her parents that she wanted to be an organ donor. This in itself was beyond her years. Her parents could never have known how important that decision would be.

On the morning of  November 4, 2011 everything changed, Taitlyn Shae woke up with an excruciating headache, her mother thought it was a migraine as they ran in the family, yet also knowing Taitlyn had never had one before.  Within five minutes her daughter was in Acoma and left fighting for her life, and rushed to the hospital. Once at the hospital a cat scan revealed she had a massive brain hemorrhage. Taitlyn had been living with a very rare condition called AVM (Arteriovenous malformation) which is a malformation between the arteries and the brain.

Taitlyn would be pronounced brain dead, and her family would be left to carry out her request. You will not want to miss this two part event, tune in to hear this very special little girl’s journey and how she did indeed make the world a better place.
