How do you resolve conflict? We might as well face the fact that we all need help in this area. No two minds think alike, therefore, we are bound to see things differently from just about everyone else on the planet at one point or another.
Living in close quarters with our family members will eventually cause clashes, and if you are living with a combat veteran, you may find that these misunderstandings are more frequent. Our veterans have returned home changed from war. Many live with post traumatic stress and many live with a traumatic brain injury. Both of these conditions can raise the potential for misunderstandings.
Join us for VOW Talk Radio on Tuesday, October 9, at 7:00 pm EDT. Dr. Rolando Diaz from Give an Hour will be joining us as he does the second Tuesday of each month, for a discussion on dealing with conflict. We want to learn to avoid conflict as much as possible, but because it is inevitable we will not see eye to eye on everything with everybody, we also want to learn how to resolve conflicts as well. Let’s build a foundation and get our tools ready so we can handle anything that comes our way. Let’s keep our families happy, healthy, and hopeful as we move into the future.
We encourage you to call in with your comments and questions for Dr. Diaz during the show.
