Hope42Day Interviews: Author and co-Founder of "Idea Champions", Mitch Ditkoff

I interviewed author, co-founder, insight guru (and comedian...) Mitch Ditkoff about his book, "Awake at the Wheel: Getting Your Great Ideas  Rolling (in an Uphill World), the Idea Champions' Train the Trainer and the Interactive Blues Band.

Within the first five minutes of talking with Mitch, I knew that he was a very special breed of business consultant/trainer.  I daresay that we are "blessed" to have him out and about interacting and inspiring us to greater heights within our businesses and also in our "off work"  lives.

His latest book, "Awake at the Wheel" is very easy and digestible way to re-learn what many of us already know about innovation and creation but without being vapid, boring or vague.  It's denser than expected, but you'll be having so much fun reading the book that you won't realize how deep your learning is actually going. Trust me on this.  I actually found myself looking for the footnotes because they were so hilarious.

I loved hearing about Idea Champions' Train the Trainer program and how they teach people skills so that they can become "Innovation Ninjas" and thereby use their abilities to catalyze whomever they come in contact with (be it the elevator, board room or lobby) to innovate and create at a higher level. Now that sounds like a program that I could sink my teeth into!
