Author of Finding Hope for Your Journey through Breast Cancer and speaker, Yvonne Ortega will interview Pattie Cagney Sheehan. A marketing/advertising professional for more than 25 years, Pattie Cagney Sheehan's last corporate position was VP, Director of Client Services for an ad agency. In 2005, her mother, Tess, was diagnosed with cancer. For the next two years, Pattie turned her focus to her mother. When Tess died in 2007, Pattie found her next career. Since 2008, Pattie has operated Second Act, the only accredited cancer recovery boutique in downtown Chicago specializing in individuals who have undergone breast surgery and chemotherapy. Second Act is a Silver Sponsor of the Komen Race for the Cure for the second year in a row. Pattie also is active with the Breast Cancer Network of Strength and the American Association of Breast Care Professionals. She is the only individual in the state of Illinois trained to fit Radiant Impressions Custom Breast Prostheses. Pattie has been featured on the Web site of the Campaign for Better Health Care and the NBC Chicago podcast, "Better Health." Pattie will talk about many cancer-related topics including her work with the Latina women in Chicago.
