Hoosier? The people of Indiana that identify themselves as "Hoosiers." The word “Hoosier” was widely used by the 1830s. Around this time, John Finley of Richmond wrote a poem called The Hoosier’s Nest, which was widely read. http://www.waynet.org/facts/hoosiersnest.htm My Hoosier roots are the foundation for humility, integrity, hard working, making simple the complicated and an abhorance for putting on "airs." Please join me as I share my experience, new adventures and view of the "Hoosier" life and state.
