Trei

Trei

BIO

Born in Detroit, Trei's (pronounced tree) musical introduction to performing and the arts were rooted in gospel. At the age of four, she was singing on a local Sunday morning church radio broadcast where she was a regular for the next two years.  Trei’s formal voice training began at age six and soon music became a refuge and beacon for Trei allowing her to emerge from several challenging events in her childhood including being given up for adoption at birth and then later being returned to the system by an abusive adoptive parent.  By the age of 16 Trei was living literally on her own.

At 22 Trei left Detroit for the emerging music capitol of Atlanta. She was able to further fulfill her desire to express herself by working as a background vocalist for several La-face recording artist, and performing as the lead vocalist for local jazz band in an array of society events, galas, balls, and showcases-- from clubs to concert halls.  In 2005 Trei released her debut CD entitled “This Is Me” under the

independent label “Inline Entertainment”.

Trei is currently recording her second CD in what peers around her have been calling a new mature, risk taking, sound coming from the artist.  Audiences will definitely hear and feel a more confident Trei.  She delivers what she has labeled a “hybrid sound” of Acoustic Jazz-Soul, accented by the familiar instrumentation and band sound that Trei` has been traditionally known for, along with several new highlights on Trei’s raw vocal ability.  Trei’s sophomore work is scheduled for release in 2007.  To find out more about Trei visit the sites listed below or contact “Inline Entertainment” @ inlinemusic@bellsouth.net

                                                       Sunn

SUNN'S BIO:

Singer/songwriter Sunn, strikes an impressive figure as an artist who men admire & women adore. Eschewing the monotonous 4/4 beats & clichs of typical Neo Soul, After Dark is an eclectic (yet accessible) melange of timeless music.

Born in rural South Carolina (the sixth of eleven children) to strict Pentecostal Holiness minister & missionary parents, Sunn was literally a born soul singer. Forbidden by his father from singing or playing instruments in church, due to his youthful unruliness, Sunn secretly honed his musical skills on borrowed instruments. Within a few years of loitering in pawn shops music stores and often sneaking his oldest brothers drums or guitar, Sunns tenacity paid off. He was self-taught over 20 instruments by the age of 17! It was also at 17 that Sunn left home to seek his place in the musical world.

Now a prolific songwriter, singer, poet, performer & producer, Sunn has traveled the world as an independent artist. Being independent helped me learn a delicate balance that makes or breaks the career of an artist... how to say what I need to say and what people want to hear, in the same breath. My music fortunately speaks to, with and for so many people who support me unconditionally. Not bad for a preachers kid who simply had something to say.
