Hi everyone! This is my very first blog, please bear with me as I learn the ropes. I am a homeschooling mom of three boys, 16,15, & 12. I am also going to school to be a medical transcriptionist. I have been FLYing on and off for about 6-7 years I guess. I get to doing really good and feeling great about my accomplishments and then something changes in my schedual and I go back to square one and it takes me forever to jump back in! Today, I got excited because Flylady sent out an e-mail on her BlogTalkRadio show for homeblessing. It was so nice to be able to do my homeblessing while listening to her coach me through it! Its not that I can't do it with out her but listening to her as I worked was like having a friend there with me and made the chores go by so much faster! Now that my home is clean and my boys have finished up their school assignments, I am rewarding myself by doing this blog! Here shortly, after lunch I am going to have to get on-line for my own school. I am training to be a medical transcriptionist with Career Step and I am loving it! Well, loving it for the most part! The section I am on now is not so fun, proofreading and editing. But it is a place where I can let my perfectionism come out and be glad for it. Since a medical report is a legal document I have to make sure that my transcription is as perfect as I can make it and be able to catch as many mistakes as I possibly can. So I get to allow my perfectionism take control in that area of my life, all the while learning from Flylady to reign it in as far as the rest of my life is concerned! Well, I've probably rambled enough for my first entry. I tried to give you a idea of what my life is currently like, I hope you will come back and read more about our school and FLYing. I plan on talking about how we homeschool and also how to balance homeschooling with my own school and still managing a household and time with the family.
