That is an excellent point, Ellen. People need to think about that. That is why it is probably better to rep one company, and refer customers to reps of other companies that market a particular service or product that the customer may be interested in.

Some of the network marketing companies also have a "non-compete" in their distributorship agreements. If you are promoting more than one opportunity, there is a possibility that you could lose your distributorship over it.

Finally network marketers can get some real-world information on how to become successful.
