CHOSEN 1 KING WES has been on the gospel rap scene for the past couple of years delivering realistic depictions of every day struggles in the streets and life in general through his lyrical prose. Growing up in Cooper Green Projects located in Birmingham, AL, KING WES became a member of one of two nationally recognized and most notorious gangs in U.S. history known as the Bloods. Surviving and overcoming an aggressive street lifestyle filled with never ending drama, crime and drugs which includes surviving being shot twice, once at the age of 16 and then at the age of 20. KING WES, would eventually submit his life to the Lord and meet a beautiful young woman who was trying to do the same whom would later become his wife at the age of 24. The rest is HIS story.
